The novel coronavirus doesn't care if you're White, Black or Asian. It will try to infect you like any other host.

But the pandemic has certainly sparked its share of racist reactions.

A new survey by the Pew Research Center reveals that Asian and Black Americans are more likely than any other group to report being targeted because of their race since the outbreak began.

Four in 10 say Black and Asian adults say people have acted uncomfortable around them or suspicious of them if they wear a mask in public, according to the survey.

"Black and Asian Americans are also more likely than their white and Hispanic counterparts to say they have been subject to slurs or jokes because of their race or ethnicity, but Asian adults are the most likely to say this has happened to them since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak," the Pew authors say.
